River Beach of Fróia

The River Beach of Fróia is one of the ex-libris of the municipality of Proença-a-Nova. The clear and crystalline water of the springs of the Fróia stream, the freshness and the natural beauty of the space are the main features of this beach that has been deserving of several distinctions, such as the reclassification of Gold Quality Beach in 2018. 

In addition to the wide promenade, where towels can be extended, Fróia beach has a sandy area, with a small playground, restaurant and bar with a terrace, access ramps and toilets for people with reduced mobility, a tourist reception area, a public transport centre and a reduced mobility, tourist reception area, showers, changing rooms, sunshades, car park, first aid post, lifeguard, library and video library, picnic area.
